Sisters

Lily likes to get in and help with her nieces and nephews.
Myrrh and Lily do everything together even raise the babies.
They are so calm and peaceful when there are kittens.
The kittens are toddling around now.
Their eyes and ears are open and they are trying to play with each other.
This bunch is very vocal.
When we say "hi, babies" several of them look up and meow at us.

Presenting!

Myrrh's babies arrived safe, sound and a little early (by my calculations) Wednesday evening.
The birthing process is always fun and interesting for me to observe. These cats really have purrsonalities. As soon as I saw that Myrrh was in labor, she was purring loudly and meowing some and her water had broken, I put her in the "kittening box". She lay right down and stayed there. She would leave if I didn't stay with her, so I quickly grabbed some towels, rags, dental floss (to tie embilical cords) scissors and rubbing alcohol to clean the scissors and we settled down to business.
The first kitten was born at 7 p.m. and the last at 10 p.m. Aunt Lily came by and kept an eye on precedings but just watched. Grandma Sheba helped a bit. She helped cut cords and clean up the new babies. Myrrh didn't require any assistance from me except to cut the cord on the last kitten. She was so tired I did this for her.
Baby Skye came by to visit and was very interested in all the commotion but hissed and left. Mia came to say hi and so did Oreo and Maggie. At one point there were kitties lined up just watching mom and her new babies, it looked a little like a feline version of the Nativity scene. Wish I'd had my camera for that one!
So the grand total is 5, not sure who is boys and girls yet but will sort that all out eventually.

NEXT!!

Skye is getting bigger and prettier everyday.
Soon she will be the big kid instead of the littlest.
Myrrh likes her tummy rubbed.
If you are very patient you can feel babies kicking.
Myrrh is about worn out and getting huge.
New kitties are due Dec 10!

JillyBoo & Mr. Fuzzypants

I got a new pic of the last two meezers.
Mr. Fuzzypants is on the left.
JillyBoo is on the right.
This is a good way to see the difference between the chocolatepoint (left) and the sealpoint (right). These two are Lily's kids born June 3, so they are almost 5 months old. They are not as big as mom yet and still have plenty of silly kitten left in them.

Squeak

I got some good closeups of Squeak today so you could see how handsome he is.
Notice his tail is his darkest point.

This sweet face has a very lightly colored nose and ears.

You can see why this is termed a doll-face.

And the eyes are a precious baby blue.

Squeak still enjoys snuggles with mama Mia and sister Skye.

A New Face

We have a new little guy available now.
His name is "Squeak" after the sound he made when he was tiny.
At first he did not like being picked up and so far away from the ground.
He's over that now.
Here you can see his points the best.
He is very white with orangecream points.
His mom is a registered Persian (here in the corner of pic with his sister)

Dad is my bluepoint Siamese.

He is a classic creampoint Himalayan.
In this face on view you can see he has a longer nose and slimmer face than a traditional Himalayan. This is called a dollface.
Mr Fuzzypants is still looking for a forever home.
He likes to help on the computer and is teaching me to type with one had and scratch ears with the other.
These two little sealpoint girls have a blast tearing through the house.
They are both gorgeous girls and real lovebugs.
